Abstract :

Nonlinear seismic analysis is becoming increasingly significant to grasp the performance of structures under earthquake, as it covers the entire range of structural response from elasticity to yielding and finally global dynamic instability. A five story reinforced concrete building frame structure was developed. The computational models were analyzed and simulated using OpenSees Simulations. Earthquake simulations were carried out using C Computing facility Param Yuva . The Incremental Dynamic Analysis technique was used to find the Maximum story drift for each acceleration scale factor of Earthquake The results indicate that the earthquake simulation of Entire building frame structure and the probability of its survivability under various large scale earthquakes
