Abstract :

Construction industry is the material is river sand which is an integral part of concrete. On the other hand environmental threat caused due to glass waste is well feasibility of using glass waste as aggregates in concrete. Waste glass termed as glass aggregates (GA) were partially repl aced in concrete at water investigation of workability, compressive strength, split tensile strength, f modulus of elasticity was done. It was found that the slump of concrete containing glass aggregates as fine aggregate replacement decreased with increases in the glass aggregate content but without loss of workability. The compressive similar to the target strength of M25 grade concrete. There was a decrease in split tensile strength and tensile strength of concrete at higher water concrete, reduces the modulus of elasticity.
