Effect of Machining process parameter in turning ST 37 steel and Parameter optimization by using Artificial Neural Fuzzy Interface system

Abstract :

In this analysis cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut, tool rake angle and coating on the insert are taken as controlling variables. The surface roughness, tool wear, machining time and material removal rate in the turning of ST 37 steel material are obtained through a series of experiments according to the experimental plan based on design of experiment technique. A mathematical model is established between factors and responses by using Regression analysis. Artificial Neural Fuzzy Interface system methodology is used for optimization of process. A neural network model has another advantage in that it can predict an output with accuracy even if the variable interactions are not completely understood. The use of art interface networks as a tool for these problems will be the basis of this paper.
