Abstract :

In this paper, the problem of MHD flows of nanofluids over an unsteady stretching surface in presence of thermal radiation is analyzed. The nanofluids taken into consideration are Copper Oxide (CuO) and Alumina (Al2O3). The boundary layer partial differential equations are first changed into a system of ordinary differential equation using similarity transformation. The differential equations are solved for variant values of governing parameters by using the function ‘bvp4c’ of MATLAB. The consequences of variant parameters such as radiation parameter Nr, Solid volume fraction ϕ of the nanoparticles, Prandtl number Pr, Lewis Number Le, the Brownian motion number Nb, thermopheresis number Nt and combined magnetic parameter M on velocity, temperature and concentration profile. The obtained results are perceived through plots.
