Abstract :

Heat transfer of coolant stream over the vehicle radiators is of great significance for the optimization of fuel ingestion and overall efficiency of the engines. In this project to investigate the heat transfer performance of radiator by using Nano fluids and practice them in real applications, it is essential first to study their thermo physical possessions such as density, viscosity, specific heat and thermal conductivity. In this work, to certify the numerical outcomes, thermal properties of CuO/water Nano fluid are determined by engaging well-known empirical correlations Check heat transfer performance of Nano fluids comparing with water. In this project Copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles are added to the water specified concentrations then evaluate heat transfer rate by using Ansys CFX and FLOTRAN. The main motto of our project is to optimize the design of the radiator using Nano fluid to increase the heat dissipating capacity. The effect of temperature in radiators and its cooling system are to be analyzed. The material properties selected are applied to this model and analyzed using CFD Analysis software.
