The work includes information gathering, text extraction, linking them with the data dictionaries and fetching the relevant data using the synonyms. This paper mainly focuses on cancer research concept wherein the Clinical trial information is stored in metadata repositories and the data is fetched using the techniques of text mining. Here the research is usually conducted in a virtual environment where it includes a wide range of hospitals, clinics and research institutes. Though this paper is primarily focusing on cancer research, it can be applied to other fields also.
