Abstract :

The classification and analysis of white blood cells (WBC’s) allows for detection of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Currently operators are analyzing blood cells manually which lead to slow analysis and less accuracy. Accuracy of the manual analysis based on the ability of operator. In this paper various leukemia detection and classification methods are discussed. Computerized classification and segmentation techniques can be used for accurate and effective results. Classification technique classifies WBC’s in different classes as per their characteristics. Feature extraction process extract features from identified nucleus and cytoplasm.
